Just checked with Firefox, same computer. They show up there, and the header is different/complete (it shows my avatar). Clearing cache, etc in IE9 did not resolve issue.

I tried this too...

I'm not that computer savy, can someone tell us how to get the site to work properly with IE, thanks.

It doesn't work in IE, you need firefox.

Well that sucks...I guess I'm voting I don't like the new format since it doesn't work properly with IE.

If what you want is the "New Posts" page you can bookmark it at:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew

That works in IE9. the others links would probably work the same.

For the moderators, it appears to be something with the style sheet. If I turn off style sheets in IE9 the link shows.

The only thing I'd change is to put the users avatar box back on the right side.

It's disorienting to have it in the top left/middle area. Most places have it on the right; that's where it seems more natural.

Oh and the user: online, quote and reply buttons look a little out of place, the font needs to be the same as the rest of the board.

IE is terrible about code formatting guidelines. The simple fact that it works, without an issue, in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome should be telling.

Once I get a new computer running the first thing I download/install is a different browser. I only keep IE for the occasional old government/school websites that were designed for IE and never updated.

I vote what the hell?! Haven't been on here a couple weeks and now its all different. The buttons need a little work to make them pop, not quickly seen at a glance, but I guess I'll get used to it.

LOL, you do know as of April 2012 IE user base climbed up another percent now sitting at 53.83% browser used on the internet. By far the largest user group with Firefox far behind at 20.55% in second place.

I actually like this, it is smooth and only subtly different than the old layout in terms of control and usefulness. I like the login feature, kinda cool.

It is nice to have admin that actually do this kind of stuff. You know, like change stuff and freshen stuff up. Gencoupe.com is the worst for this. It took over 2 weeks for someone in admin to respond to a suggestion I made in the forum feedback section. Nothing ever changes, same shit different day LOL!
