That would be a nice pickup but I couldn't make good use of one yet since I don't have performance mods and want to wait to tune till I get more done to the car.

Those pieces will look sick JP!

In terms of mods, I'm trying to decide what to spend my next paycheck on.. so here's what I plan to do regardless of my next paycheck:

-Plasti Dip roof and front splitter gloss black, and maybe the front windshield pillars
-Paint my headlight bezels black on the inside
-Install my custom licence plate
-Paint strut braces red
-Carbon fiber my interior with that water dip stuff
-Plasti Dip stock rims gloss black (if I decide to sell my gold rims and tires for mod money, which keep in mind I very well may do that if anyone wants to buy them)
-Paint my brake calibers red (but may wait to do some brake upgrades when the callipers are off anyways)

So the modifications I am in question to spend my next paycheck on are the following bundles. Some options allow for extra spending on different nicnaks so I'll section those first and will state where applicable how much can be spent on nicnaks with my budget.
Basically I can't decide and want some input.

Nicnaks:
6000k HID Kit OLM $90
Carbon Hood Dampers $70
Muteki SR48 Neo Chrome Lug Nuts $114
Rexspeed Carbon Fiber Gauge Cluster Hood $140
OLM Interior Dome LED $8
OLM Trunk Light LED $12
Cusco Red Drift Button $25
Rexspeed Blue'd Wide Angle Side Mirrors $90
Hella Supertone Horn Kit $55
Shark Fin Antenna $113
High Output DLR Foglight Bezel Kit $120
OLM Switchback $50

First Option: Brake Upgrade
DBA T2 Slotted Rotors all around $350
EBC Redstuff Brake Pads all around $180
Red Brake Callipers Painted

Second Option: Exhaust
Wait two weeks then buy SpeedFactory Catted UEL Headers $970

Third Option: Exhaust 2
Motiv Over Pipe $280
HKS Resonated Front Pipe $325

Fourth Option: Acceleration
Raceseng S1 Pulley Kit $375
Nicnaks up to $225

Fifth Option: Looks
Buddy Club Tail Lights $495
Nicnaks up to $100

Sixth Option: Airflow
Perrin BIGMAF CAI Red $325
Perrin Red Inlet Hose $130
Nicnaks up to $145

Seventh Option: Stance
Wait two weeks and buy KSport Kontrol Pro Coilovers $1040

Eigth Option: Style
Sell my Gold Rims and buy 5Axis S7 19" in Gunmetal

And if I sell my Gold Rims I can choose two options and more nicnaks

Nice list of mods there, without going into too much detail, save your money on the CAI, it's already been proven that with a good tune and drop in filter, it will produce the best results. Our stock intake is pretty good already, just need a better filter
I've owned three or four intakes already and went back to stock with an upgraded inlet tube and panel filter

Look in my garage under my avatar to see a list of existing mods if you wish

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/dto_g...ehicle_id=1345

btw you don't need any major mods to take advantage of a tune. Cat-back w/ drop-in filter STG1 Tune, add some headers for a STG2 Tune

Yea lots of cars intakes are just limited by the filter remember reading about evo 10s picking up 10whp on dyno by removing filter so that gives you idea of how restrictive an oem can be

Wow just took a look at that big maf intake. Definitely over kill for a 2.0l n/a motor and you would need a tune (so more added cost) I could see using something that size in a boosted application but pretty much a waist of money. I use a 3.5" maf housing and 4" intake on my other car but that's to avoid compressor choke and keep up with my precision turbo

Yeah some of us early adopters went through many intakes looking for increased performance, until various testing was done via dyno to show that our stock intake with a good filter was just as good, if not better than any aftermarket intake

I have the Blitz LM filter at the moment, but most aftermarket filters should be good

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing for me, with the red tubing would match my engine bay plans, but I'll wait till I get to the point where all I want to add is little bits and pieces. They do make a version with smaller tubing and so I assume that one would be for NA and the bigmaf for FI models

Yes the ARC airbox with the SARD CF intake tube looks great. I use to have a custom CF airbox with titanium intake tube before going back to stock
