. Shax hasn't driven the car, Shax hasn't even SAT in the car. If he did he wouldn't be spewing this verbal diarrhea. I mean seriously, his point of comparison is a car that costs $50,000 more; why are people taking him seriously?

What's this? Doesn't look like 86's drifting to me at all....
Trust me, If you can drift a 112hp AE86, a 140hp single cam 240SX with a slushbox and an open diff, or a 90hp London taxi (youtube it!) you can sure as $#!t drift a 200hp 86 with LSD. It all comes down to the driver, not the amount of horsepower you make. Stop trolling and go to some f***in' driving events, because if you can't drift this car, you suck as a driver! ShaX is just mad that no car will ever come close to the phenomenal greatness that is his 1998 Honda Accord. BEHOLD! The greatest car known to man!

If you were serious:
Stop watching Initial D as your drifting references. Go brush up on drifting and how the professionals that get payed to do it, actually drift. Go watch any V-opt D1 DVD and enjoy the in car cameras of the Japanese pros yanking hard on that ebrake. Those fancy ebrake knobs that are made to keep it from locking started in Japan for a reason... If you were sarcastic: INORITE? (I'm also sorry for razzing you above) Dear internet, Invent sarcasm tags so I don't have to do this... |

Your mom is overhyped...
*zing!* But seriously, what are they gonna say? Oh yes, we're Subaru... we just built this new sports car. There aren't any other cars exactly like it out there. It's the first RWD car we've built since the 1960's, and Toyota's first boxer engine since the 1960's. It handles very well, is relatively affordable, and some people think it's a lot of fun to drive. People have been crying out for years for a car like this to be produced and we've answered them. So... it's OK. Maybe you'll buy it, maybe you won't.

Hey, dont knock on Initial D. Its nothing like Fast and Bi-Curious! Even in that show it stated that hand-brake drifting is a beginners move. There is a lot in that show you can learn if you pay attention to what they say, and its awesome to watch (only if you watch it sub. Dub just changes way too many words around to crap that doesnt make sense since the american translating it didnt know crap about cars)

Obviously.
Anyway, i think everyone knows whether they will get this car or not. No point debating. If someone just doesnt get it, they either dont care for the same things or just dont understand a good many things. I think if somebody doesnt know if they want the car, just wait. Dont bother with the first round of shipments. Your just wasting your time and that of somebody who is eagerly awaiting their own. Dont buy if you dont know. |

But again, I don't care about drifting. I would prefer more stability actually as I plan to put high grip tires on it. But there's no doubt that kicking the rear out and drifting/powersliding is one of the funnest things you can do in a car. But I'm definitely not going to be tugging on the e-brake and risking flat spotting my tires or damaging my brakes or differential. BTW, you can power oversteer an S2000 which has the same weight and torque basically. So I really wonder how hard it is to break an FR-S loose... |
