Guys, just ignore comments such as those from Ryan_west. All these constant update on a useless point made from Ryan just wasted my time reading it. I thought the subject was on Wax but I end up reading everyone being angry to one bad comment.
Just ignore Ryan and let's talk about wax!!! I've been using Auto Glym HD wax and had been putting it on with hand around once per 2 months. My car looks mint after just one coat. I do use two coats but really, I think one was enough. Hand waxing the FRS is not that hard cuz the car is pretty small, so consider it. Machine wax is kinda scary even thought I use to do that for my old BLACK Rsx, this is my first new car, so I baby her pretty hard, hehe. |

I look for waxes that say to apply to the entire car rather than a section at a time. That generally means they are easier to polish off and don't dry too fast. Adam's buttery wax and Maguiars Ulitimate wax are my current favourites. Already was using Adam's and the detailer that opticoated my car recommended the Maguiars Ultimate wash n wax and the Ultimate wax. I also like being able to tell my wife I'm off the the garage to massage some buttery wax into my baby! I haven't tried the Smart Wax mentioned in the OP but looks like they have a good range and the coloured bottles would look good lined up in my detailing cupboard!
