Are the B6's rebuildable, or are they crimped shut?

I've been a fan of Bilstein since I used to have the PSS kit on my GTI. Warranty service is also a very pleasant experience.

The only thing that's keeping me from getting the B6 vs. Koni Yellow for the BRZ is that I don't know if an OTS B6's valving, especially rebound, is going to be like a Koni Yellow set to full rebound.

They are rebuildable, and Bilstein can also revalve for a small fee per damper.

http://www.bilsteinus.com/products/s...rvice/service/ has the rebuild options. You would probably end up spending $500 to get a full set revalved with shipping costs involved.

I think the only crimped ones are the OEM Bilstein shocks found on cars like the Solstice.
