You're still being vague.

People know that these products are all essentially the same, just branded and marketed differently. That being said, why do you choose to use the products you use? Is it because you've had experience with everything under the sun and don't like it or is it because you've only had experience with one brand.

Ive used almost everything on the market. I seriously just have a problem with the price point. I dont know if im confusing you but I know the overhead cost to make nearly everything in the market. Once again you would be shocked! Not going into anymore details man.

Why won't you go into the details. In the words of Desi, "Start 'splainin', Lucy"

You could write for the National Enquirer with a story like that. Or the Onion. Or CNN. With that level of alarmism you could even write for Fox News.

Yes, there's a tremendous markup. There's a tremendous markup on everything you buy. That's called profit. It's not shocking that a bottle of something that sells for $25 only costs $0.30 to produce. That's the way economy of scale works, especially for stuff that you can mix in a 1,000 gallon vat or five.

If you're just trying to provoke an emotional response instead of providing solid, verifiable numbers about specific examples, then your comments will fall on deaf ears. You'll get an emotional response, but it will be against you, not against the evil capitalists at Chemical Guys.

In short, put up or shut up.

And if you think Chemical Guys, Sonax, et al. are bad, then let's really play.

Zymöl Destiny Glaze

Zymöl Vintage Glaze

Zymöl Royale Glaze

Please note that the Vintage and Royale glazes come with lifetime refills.

You're not confusing me, you're obfuscating the data.

Well, considering that you've given us nothing beyond overly dramatic condemnations, any information at all would be a good start.

I'll play!

Pretty simple really @Ryan_west - You say you know what's in most products and the huge margins.

Simply tell us a brand that is great quality and sells at a price point that you think is reasonable.

If that product doesn't exist then there's not much point to your comments other than saying "car cleaning products when bought in DIY quantities are expensive". Might be true but doesn't actually help anyone.
