Maybe change the regional Wi-Fi settings on note ? docent countries use different channels. Try changing distance settings too. I know mine running kit Katyou can turn on a mode for more range. I have the tmobile version and it works fine. As of recent autotether doesn't work but then again I just flashed a new Rom on my phone so I'll need to troubleshoot

It doesn't plug into the back of the factory USB/Aux module, it plugs into the cable that comes out of it.

The very front part. You have to push the headunit up all the way to the front of the brackets for the center bezel trim to sit flush, and when you do this, the screw holes won't line up by just a tiny bit. So you file down the bracket or bend it outward so that the screw holes line up.

You just spent $600 on a head unit, and you can't afford $4 for Poweramp?

A little - I am not getting the BT error in settings, though. I have had some BT squirreliness with connecting and staying connected to my ca-fi BT ODB2 device.

power amp, fantastic app.
titanium backup is another fantastic paid app worth every cent, its best feature is it will restore your devices android ID after you reflash OS, preventing you from needing to pay for some apps multiple times.

Edit:
anyone running smart launcher on this thing? looks like a match made in heaven to me.
does the kernel support double tap screen on?

Edit2:
only reason I haven't looked more seriously at this is because I have an XM adapter in my car I like.
this android HU come with much/any bloatware?

Edit3:
anyone posted the /system/build.prop yet?

Edit4:
if the interface seems laggy try smart launcher and force it into memory?

If you want XM on this just use the XM/Sirius radio android app (although, I will never pay for that crap while I have Pandora, Tune-In, Slacker, etc...)

As for the launcher, I don't think that launcher would really be my cup of tea. I haven't installed any other launchers but I heard others say doing so is pointless as clicking the home button always brings you back to the stock homescreen (I think). Regardless, using LMT launcher (which just overlays the pie over everything swiping from the bottom of the screen) is everything I need, that and I may install Glovebox.

As for the build.prop, I don't think anyone has, but I can grab it for you and post, what plans do you have?

I don't own this unit, I was just curious about it. I'm a little bit of an android nerd. I already own an aftermarket xm adapter, I could probably convince them to change my subscription to web only, and sell it I guess.

I don't know what has happened recently with the USB adapter but people are receiving the incorrect adapter from one merchant on Amazon and it's fucking everything up, because the correct adapter is literally simple plug and play, if you can snap in a dog collar you can snap this together. Let this be a lesson to everyone and anyone who has received the wrong adapter, please bitch and complain to the store you bought it from until you get the right thing and/or a refund, plenty of us ordered this without issue, but somewhere down the line people started getting the wrong adapter.
The adapter I got did not have any connectors that would mate with the factory USB harness. And now it's all cut up. $13 not-entirely down the drain.

A penny saved is a penny earned, and I'm not convinced I need to shell out the $4 for PowerAmp. I might, I might not; I haven't decided yet. Gonna check out the trial first.

[EDIT]
On that note, Google Play's website is identifying the Dashlinq4 as "No carrier Cardroid CA03" and is saying the PowerAmp trial is incompatible with it (and thus it won't show up in Play Store search results on the Dashlinq4 itself). What gives?

If you rooted your unit, try using Market Helper, an app that makes your device appear as a Galaxy S3, Nexus 7, or any well-known device to Google Play, so you can download and install apps that otherwise would be incompatible with your unit.

I did root it, but I also found that you can download the APK directly from their website and sideload it, which is what I'll do.

Oooof I meant to try freezing CarHome app(stock launcher) right before updating. Pretty sure it will break the OS so wanted to do it when the time was right.
