Look like the perfect car to car US Army sponsorship. The paint scheme reminds me of some of the Army Air Corp fighter planes from WWII.

I checked the USTCC website, but the results weren't posted. Where did you qualify and finish and out of how many cars in class?

I'm really surprised to see the stock front brakes still on this car...

What pads are you running and how are they holding up over time?

How often are you changing pads and rotors?

Are you running ducting and backing plates to cool the rotors?

Have you had any fading issues or disintegration of the piston dust boots?

You must remember, this is a touring car series, although brake upgrades in USTCC are allowed (but not allowed in TC classes for Pirelli World Challenge), rotational mass is some of the most important weight you have to look to save.

I was very impressed with the stock brakes. We even ran the stock rotors for this event. We have Winmax W4 pads on the car, which provided great grip in combination of the NT-01 spec tire. We plan to upgrade our rotors for the next event, although, I must say the stock rotors are decent for what they are. (I cannot speak to the stock pads, we did not test on them). Being NA due to the touring car class we do not have a lot of horse power, so there is not a purpose to be overkill on the brakes.... (yet
)

Edit: to ansnwer your additional questions
How often are you changing pads and rotors? As I said about, we plan to upgrade rotors for the next event. and we will keep our current Winmax W4 pads

Are you running ducting and backing plates to cool the rotors? We did not run any cooling at this time, but we will in the future. Temps were not severe.

Have you had any fading issues or disintegration of the piston dust boots? No issues at all with our current set up

This is one of the big reasons why I upgraded to the AP Sprint BBK and lost 20 lbs of unsprung rotational mass in front.

I can't imagine you will continue to have no issues. I know your car is gutted and running race weight but I still have big doubts that the stock brakes will continue to do the job well. They certainly did not for me running race pads, ducting, and several other provisions in the effort to control temperatures on track. I found they are simply too small and thermally inefficient to hold up to repeated track abuse over time, to the point where my long term operating costs no longer made sense to keep them on my car.

I'm not sure it will matter to you much anyways driving for a factory sponsored team with lots of resources to keep throwing rotors, pads, and even calipers on the car at a whim, but I think you should read my little manifesto about the stock brakes and how I've come to realize they really can't be modified to perform consistently on track without burning through the weakest part of the system way too quickly. In my case it was the pads. Weighing out all the pros and cons of stock vs BBK, I laid out all my reasoning and BBK justification here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...84#post1798884
