On topic, I use 303 aerospace and the stuff is amazing especially when the heat of the Florida summer hits, the UV protectant helps.

In my experience the Adams SVRT lasted longer. Much cheaper for mother stuff though just have to use a hell of a lot more product.

+1 for Mothers Back-to-Black. It works great, and it was the only product that managed to get the ugly oxidation off my mirror plastic trim. People have been telling me to use white vinegar but that made no difference. You can get it for less then $7 on Amazon.

While we're on the subject, anybody know how to fix scratches on the diffuser? I have no idea how it got scratched. I know the diffuser is fixed into the bumper so no use replacing it.

Back to Black leaves it greasy and attracts dirt. It's also damaging long term.


303 on the other hand is not and is recommended by man boat manufacturers to protect the vinyl upholstery and tops on boats. It's also well known and used for the vinyl tops on Miatas.

You can try some heat, but I doubt it will do much as the bumpers are usually urethane which is not a thermoplastic.

I got mine on sale at Cabela's a few years ago. Best everyday price I've found is amazon.
