Arrow FR-S/BRZ Rear Diffuser

Better price here than most vendor threads I've seen...

This is one of the rare occasions when I support a knock-off product. There is no, NO reason why the OEM one should cost $800. Even dealer cost is $600. Ree-diculous!

I already bought mine from a new vendor here at FT86Club and paid like $60 more. But I wouldn't think twice on buying this one off ebay with FREE shipping

Awesome Deal

Let us know how it fits up! Seriously, the OEM one is blood money. I was gonna order the car with it so I wouldn't have to remove the rear bumper for installation, but it's not worth the convenience.

This one is a no brainer

Diffusers are stupid expensive for what they are. I wouldn't even consider that one a diffuser. I was thinking more along the lines of the borla one,

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=559455

Those eBay vendors should make 'em like that but to fit with any other exhaust.

You can get it even cheaper through another vender here on this forum:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29019

I ordered one last night.

i agree.. the OEM version is rediculously overpriced.. No reason it should cost more than $200 shipped for a plastic trim piece.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Borla only compatible with their exhaust ?

Yeah I knew about this thread also

But most vendor threads for this item are higher priced than the ebay link I left

Supposedly. From what I understand, it actually bolts to the exhaust itself. I'm wondering if it's the same story with the TRD diffuser.

Yes. That's exactly why someone on eBay should make a version that would fit with any other type of exhaust.

I would love this, I just hate that the rear bumper needs to be removed to be installed. Probably not difficult though.

After looking at the installed pics, this thing just looks ... eh ... tacked on with no real purpose. Kinda like those fender vent stickers that you see on so many riced out cars. Maybe the pictures are not doing it justice. I'll try to see one in person before completely disregarding this piece.

Thanks for the links to both the ebay listing and the vendor thread.
