Too good not to mention haha.

I'm assuming this is a concept so it wont look entirely like that but rather closer to the crz or w/e honda boys love their hot hatches

JDM Levorg and Legacy GT make 290hp from 2.0L FA20DIT "exact same engine as USDM WRX with different tune".

They have much better gas.
Use 94 in the US would get you that but instead it is tuned on 89 for your consumption.
E85 would blow all that out of the water.

My WRX with FA20DIT requires premium fuel, which is 92.
From what I was told, Highest grade 98 RON in Japan = our 93.
What most consumers get is 92, which is equivalent of 95 RON.
It's the mapping that makes WRX has 268hp, so it won't compete with STI at 305hp. People who turbo'ed their FA20 should know how much power it can hold reliably.

There was another thread where someone complained that it is tuned for 89 so it won't be as powerful as an sti stock. Cali also only has 91 unless e85 or race fuel.

Japan is 100ron.

Our FA20 has higher compression than the DIT.

Not only CAFE but the US market is saturated with cheap people with crazy high expectations but don't really have the cash to back the demand. Bringing JDM spec products over is a hard sale.

Hmm FA20DIT is definitely not tuned for 89 as they recommend 92.
