And 102.3FM, a local Bellingham station that plays mostly Big Band, Swing, Bluegrass, old wartime news broadcasts, stand-up comedy from the early 20th century and, at night, old-time radio serials and opera. Lots of beautiful old things I've never heard of, things that were salvaged from wax cylinder recordings. :-)
Oh that contemporary... I love it. LOVE IT.

I listen to everything. Lol if I know I'm going to get really angry because of parking, traffic or extremely high stressful situations I'll put on my contemporary classical stuff.

Other times I like listening to my Japanese/Korean RnB or whatever Genre.

I found listening to chill music makes me a more relaxed driver. Recently, The Black Keys new album Turn Blue has been on repeat.

METAL
95% of the time Im playing METAL. Parkway Drive, Betraying the Martyrs, As I lay Dying, Metallica, All that Remains, August Burns Red, The word Alive, Underoath, Moitonless in White, While She sleeps, and an insane amount of more bands... I have 1180 songs in my iphone5, and I would have to say 95% of them are METAL (dont want to get detailed on all the subgenres of metal)

some reggae (bob marley, rebelution, tribal seeds) some electronic/dubstep (Flume, Adventure club,BassNectar) some hip hop some rap (Kendrick lamar, drake, jcole)

ABSOLUTELY NO COUNTRY! IN FACT I FORBID IT BEING PLAYED IN MY CAR

lol maybe it's just me, I feel like dubstep is really heavily influenced by hip hop and it's almost just hip hop beats (really good ones) without the rapper.
