Muzak

What kinda music do you drive to?

Rap and metal for me, mainly. Tech N9ne, Eminem, Slipknot, SOAD, Nonpoint, plus a few others strewn about.

I listen to sex moaning on bluetooth so everyone around me can hear

Teseo 06-28-2014 06:04 PM

Trance: Armin Van Buuren and his armada music.
Super Eurobeat: Running in the 90's maybe?

Thehermdawg 06-28-2014 07:18 PM

Just about everything, rap, rock, metal, dubstep for the most part.

Was just about to add a thread like this.

I'm living in the past (and I think old music sounds better - now get off my damn lawn).

On my driving playlist:

Blur - Song 2
Placebo - Every me and every you
Chromatics - Tick of the clock (from the BoxOne Rocketbunny vid)
Far East Movement - Rocketeer
Lenny Kravitz - American Woman
Cardigans - My favourite game
Jay Chou - "Heading North" (live action Initial D movie theme)

Why the hell is dubstep grouped up with Rap and Hip Hop?

gramicci101 06-28-2014 10:33 PM

Blue Stahli
Disturbed
Three Days Grace
Nonpoint
Static X
Ra
Tantric
Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov (sometimes too quiet for my car)

Because anything with bass got grouped in there.

OT: Mainly metal and dubstep for me. I like to listen to Moog's (from MightyCarMods) stuff on long drives. Metal usually gets me too on edge for that, so I listen to it if I need music for a spirited drive.

NWFRS 06-28-2014 10:50 PM

Franz Ferdinand
Ludovico
Vivaldi
Bond

And 102.3FM, a local Bellingham station that plays mostly Big Band, Swing, Bluegrass, old wartime news broadcasts, stand-up comedy from the early 20th century and, at night, old-time radio serials and opera. Lots of beautiful old things I've never heard of, things that were salvaged from wax cylinder recordings. :-)

Ah, that makes sense.

We should've grouped up Country and Black/Death metal then too. Since they both have guitars. :D
