nice.
I like car people. I feel people who are into the stanced thing are not car people in the way I define it to myself. Which should have no affect on anyone else by the way. Now obviously I haven't met every stanced car owner in the universe. BUT to ME it seems the stanced car owners ive met are into getting attention, being hardparked and the scene of car meets. Not things im into. They ones Ive met don't do their own work so its just more of a social gathering. Which is fine but it shifts them away from being (my definition of) car people, in my mind im thinking gearheads when I say car people but that's not for everyone. But that's also probably why I don't like people that pay to have all their work done AS much as they guy(or girl) that built his(or her) car in his(or her) driveway. Im into cars and car people for the mechanical aspect of it so I gravitate to people of that nature. If you don't care about function, don't do your own work and are into this all just for the shows/meets/photo op then good for you. But in MY OWN personaly definition of what a CAR GUY(or girl) is I don't think that "type" of person is it. So I usually approached stanced car owners with caution. Almost assuming im not going to like their views on the car world since we share a common vehicle for different reasons. And that's fine.

I don't go into people build threads and bitch about their choices either way. I really don't care how someone chooses to ruin their car, it's not my concern. The fact is, the question was asked why/if it's cool and I said I think it's stupid. That's the truth. If you can't accept that, then you are the one with the problem, not me. I don't have to like what you do, but you have to accept you can't change my mind. Good luck with that.

There's a difference between passing judgment and stating actions that people make.

If you are going to use bigoted derogatory terminology in your posts, then at least be man enough to own your own hatred and spell the full word.

Discussed a bit in the latest MCM vid with a stanced FR-S owner (cool dude let me ride along at autox). Only valid argument against stance is too much tire stretch can be a safety concern which was beaten to a dead horse by me on this forum and the vid mentions safety inspections. I prefer more function and clearance but no hate from me.
