ReFlash after installing HKS FRS/BRZ Resonated Front Pipe??

I am running the Stage 2 EL E85 tune from OpenFlash. I have driven 200 miles so far and everything feels great.

I just installed my HKS FRS/BRZ Resonated Front Pipe today.

Currently I am running:

Stock Header > Stock OP > HKS FP > Stock MP > WORKS Exhale Axle Back

I am not getting a CEL but do I need to reflash anyways? I do notice that throttle response is better and obviously sound is better. Please let me know your feedback. Thank you.

No need for a reflash with your mods

Sweet thanks. I assume reflash is necessary when you swap header and all that. Woot

you need to run a log to see whats up. most likely, without a header and just a high flow cat your care is pulling timing. thats what happened when I had my high flow cat with op. You dont even have an OP so...

I have a 3" catted front pipe, full catback and drop in filter, the only time Rarity pulls timing is at top end if I use 91 octane, otherwise it's fine...

here's a dyno sheet of her with the Fiebruz intake manifold runner extenders

Stg 2 which i believe he is running is for cars with uncatted headers. Replacing the front pipe alone with a high flow cat is not the same. Op should post the results of a data log for viewing

No need to reflash or reset when you add header unless your flashing a new or updated tune that takes advantage of the header.

Ecu continuously learns within its limits, even the stock tune will adjust for header but cannot take the maxium advantage of the header.

A tune specific for aftermarket headers will usually run extra fuel ignition timing and cam timing adjustments outside the range of the stock tune.

Headers with no tune might only pick up 5 hp with tune possibly 10.to 15 hp

Resetting ECU to magically gain power seems to be one of those urban myths in reality all you will achieve is resetting any DTC/CEL codes if they were present

Assuming your talking about OFT tunes

not unless you running E85 and the E85 stage 2 tune on stock car

Usually
Stage 1= stock car
Stage 2= car with aftermarket catless header either EL or UEL

It in the release notes for tunes

I wasn't presuming that reflashing would give me magical gains. I was more asking if it was proper to do so considering I was presenting a different exhaust set up in the mix.

Shiv has already verified and confirmed that you can run the Stage 2 EL E85 map with stock headers - if I am not mistaken.

Your on E85 right ?

Looks ok to me (im not a tuner) their is a bit of knock 6500 and 7100 rpm here judging by the chunks out of your KC Learned value it would be easier to see if you logged Knock correction and FLCK it does not look bad probably less than 1 degree pulled . Its just a bit unusual on E85 to see knock is it your first tank and e% is a bit low. AFR is plenty rich enough.
