I've been updating in my build thread .

Exedy TD was initially horrible coming off a dead stop. There was no chance to come off line civil and like a normal car.

BUT, it has improved throughout the break in process and now it has become pretty DD friendly. Will still hold final review and judgement until after break in is complete. I'm at 300 miles break in and its minimum 500.

I realize this an old thread but ill throw some knowledge at it. I have the act streetlight and the 6 puck sprung.

The streetlight is about at light as you can go and not get random misfire codes and still be streetable. Install was just like any other clutch, no issues.

Feel was extremely chattery at first. Difficult to DD in fact until about 500 miles of driving then it got substantially better. The flywheel is nice for rev matching downshifts but with a factory idle with the ac on there is a lot more noise then factory. Well because racecar. If your into that kind of thing.

Starts on hills required more RPMS's than i'd like and I felt like I was excessively hard on the clutch. Mainly because of a lack of feel at the engagement point. Then I looked at my pedal. That damn spring in there makes the engagement point feel awful. I ripped it out.

Car is extremely streetable. Pedal pressure is stiffer than stock but that's a good thing. It reminds you to not keep the clutch pedal in at red lights. (bad for crank bearings with a high pressure pressure plate). The noise might be a deal breaker for some but that's the flywheel not the clutch.
Removing that damn spring made a huge difference.
Clutch is currently holding 380wtq no problem.

Very inncorrect, many of us have had the prolite with no isssues, i for my self have had it while the car was fully stock, and racked over 2000 miles and not a single code

Good info there i mean im sure there is going to be some chatter and stuff like that but like you said because racecar lulz have u had any stalling issues when thrown into nuetral? Also im sure once its broken in it will get better and you get more used to it as well and thats good to know regarding the tq i will post some numbers after it gets retuned. I lit that stock clutch up on the dyno lol car made more power than expected and is pig rich under full boost but could not take any more out due to clutch but all that will change soon

No problems at idle but I did turn my idle up slightly. Its gets rid of some of the chatter when the ac is on.

So far I'm happy with my prototype clutchmasters, I'll call it an fx400+ kit. No slip and it is actually lighter than my old fx which is weird oh and it's not as chattery to drive

Ok so guys here is my thoughts on the act 6 puck sprung with flywheel...

Very quick engadment a little chatter upon idle at times but nothing serious at all may take some ppl a little to get used to but i had no issue it grabs extreamly well. But i beg to differ from ppl who say its a hassle and a pita to dd. I think it will be fine just like ny 6 puck in my other car was. Noticable difference in reving through gears with the flywheel. Also i would agree you must give it some gas off the start but not much like 1300rpms but easy to get smooth launch well just my 2 cents but who the hell am o

The streetlite and the prolite on this car are only like a pound different. I doubt anyone could tell the difference between the two unless looking at them.
