Sorry to disappoint you but no, not alot of fast cars out here on the streets. Although i would love to get my ass handed to me my an rx7 FD turbo or a supra TT or a camaro ss or a GTR or a mustang cobra....but those are hard to come by , if i ever catch one on the street I'll be sure to video tape it for everyone's amusement .
As far as cars between 20~30k price range, haven't had the chance to be humbled by a fast one yet.

Maybe others who had been privileged with being graced by super fast $30k cars could help compile a list of cars that will stump you silly: (put your tail between your legs list, lol)

So far I have beat a mr2 turbo, BMW 328i and a 2012 wrx....this is all on shiv's tune.

His tune really opened up the top end.

A Genesis 3.8r was dead even with me from 1st to third and then we stopped.

It's shiv's tune different from the ots esc tune?

I decided to go with the MFactory 4.67FD instead of the mk3 supra 4.88 FD. It's a bit more expensive by about 3times the price but the mfactory is made of Forged Nickel-Chromoly Steel and would definitely last allot longer.
My ring and pinion is almost here,It's in a sorting facility Just 10miles away so I'm sure it'll be here by Monday if usps doesn't work weekends. Once installed I'll give my opinion on the performance with esc+FD ,maybe do another gtech 1/4 run, but I'm guessing 13.8et
So far my mods:
Installed:
Esc
OFT
K&N drop in filter
Enkei RPF1 235/40r17 with Yokohama summer tires
RCE yellow lowering springs

Ordered and waiting for;
4.67 FD mfactory (shipped)
Sharkfin antenna (shipped)
OFH (waiting on lead time)
Perrin over pipe(shipped
Perrin 2.5" CBE (shipped)
Roof spoiler (waiting to be shipped)
Yeah, I have the 4.88 installed. It definitely adds some nice extra grunt getting off the line and through the lower rpms to where the fun starts. Only 2500 rpm cruise on the highway too.

That's because you have an AT. MT would be at 3200rpm at the same speed.
Your 4.88 basically matches his 4.56 with 1st and second gear.

You're absolutely right. The AT, while it has taller gearing than the MT in general, also has disproportionately taller 4-5-6 gears than its 1-2-3. The downshift from 4th to 3rd is nasty. Haha

Wow! Dead ever with a 3.8?! Stock?
My buddy has a 2013 3.8 Track which I believe is a bit heavier. I would love to match him.
You have header correct?

Hey, I have a victim story. I'm flogging and old school Camry (3VZ-FE, auto), as one of Rob's "rest mules", and I decided to see what a beautiful looking old, big block, 1967 Beumont, (obviously built to the...), would run like.I ran real well, like probably an 11 second Muscule Car! I lost obviously... big time. But what a show!

On the general topic, I've tried to PM Fenton, and give him a chance to "beat up" on my ancient family car. So far no answer?

Frankly I'd love to just meet-up and swap some notes. If there was an opportunity to play a little, that would just make for great camera fodder and a few laughs.

Nope, I was on the backside of a group of 4 going 80 mph in the car pool lane and the cop decides to pull me over.

****.

Speed limit was 70. And I was going slower then the rest of the group.

Also the regular lanes were going faster then the group.

Don't know how many points that is in Cali/Nevada, but many/most prosecutors are willing to reduce the charge in exchange for paying the entire fine and not asking for a hearing. Can save points on the license. Might be worth a call.

Yeap, enjoying yourself/having fun and being humble all at the same time.

Racing on the streets with no seat belt on, all on camera and boasting a "victim" list just seemed real classy, thank god it looks like I completely missed that stage in life.
