Yeah those lights too, if they fit. Nobody has tried yet.

Are note some forged 19 inch wheels lighter than the stock 17 inch rims?

probably. forged is also hella expensive but worth the money if you afford to take the hit.

Me too, I kinda fell in live with the lamps they put out on the FR-S concept.

EDIT: I would pay good money for a set of those

Five Axis won't be making a kit to make it look like the original concept but instead a bolt on kit that will add a sportier appearance then what you see on the production model. If you go to their website you'll see that the cars that they have built cost upwards to $1,000,000.00 to build from the ground up.

The cost associated with making the FR-S look like the concept would be astronomical since you'd essentially need a new hood, front/rear fenders molded, front/rear bumpers molded, front/rear lights + so much more. The labor alone would kill ya.

I got a email back from them the other day in response to my question as to whether or not they would be producing the wheels on the concept, this is what they said:

"Thank you for getting in-touch and for your interest in Five Axis. And yes, the wheels on the Five Axis FR-S Concept are a prototype of a future FIVE:AD wheel design that will be available through our consumer product line, FIVE:AD.

We are already in planning stages to develop a 4-piece aero kit for the production FR-S, similar to other aero kits we offer for Scion, as well as a spoiler. More info on this will be posted at the FIVE:AD product website, www.fivead.net. Once the FIVE:AD FR-S aero kit parts are available they will be posted at www.fivead.net and you can then find a dealer closest to you for purchase them. If one isn't close, we can work with you on getting in-touch with one that can help you.

Thanks again for your interest in Five Axis and FIVE:AD products. Please let me know if you have any other questions."

As you can see, they will be offering a 4-piece bolt on kit. HTH :happy0180:

Lowering springs also reduce the suspension travel of your car. So if you're hitting bump stops constantly it'll kill your handling.

EDIT: I should also mention that by increasing the size of the wheel, you will decrease your final drive ratio of your transmission.
Wheel size doesn't change the final drive ratio of transmission, so long as the tire diameter is maintained. Larger wheel size does hurt due to the greater moment of inertia, but the effect is small.

A lower profile tire simply reduces "flex" in the sidewall of the tire. Overall this won't really do much except for make the ride a little more harsh.
Sidewall flex is a factor in turn-in response and suspension geometry. There's a certain sweet spot with sidewall size, and thereafter the car is slower with upsized wheels. For the FR-S I'd wager anything above 17" is just hurting the performance.

that's why you gotta cut the bump stops, premature shock wear, ftl ~

I disagree. All of the pieces are significantly different. I like the Five axis front lip, side skirts and rear valance, but would prefer the TRD spoiler.

Yup. Spoiler is a bit small and low.
