No. I don't think they do. Not at all in fact. Which is why they wouldn't think twice about curbing or fucking up a set of TE-37's.

Past experiences have proven to me that your wheels are likely to get fucked up at a car dealership.

OP had a staggered set on his car and they rotated them. Only reason I pointed out switching back to stock wheels for a trip to the dealership may be a good idea. Or at the very least, stressing to the SA that you don't want your tires rotated.

I left a note and told my SA five times I didn't want my car washed (car just went in for an oil leak from timing cover). Here's to hoping they don't wash my car. lol.

Has anyone tested how well it evacuates by dropping the drain plug to see if there's any oil left? Pretty neat idea. Just wonder about how effective it is at getting everything out of the Oil tank.

Eh, aside from the looks of pure astonishment from my "mods". Which is... Axle back, springs, plastidipped interior, and smoked tails(super huge list right?) I have had no problem with the dealership. Even gave me a ride to walmart across the street last time while I waited.

Granted it's only been for the two oil changes so far, but that's 400 dollars already I haven't had to spend and could put towards my payment.

@MFB I've been to dealerships many times over my years with alot of cars, I've yet to have one damage a car in any way, and the couple times out of my friend group that something like that has happened they had no problems fixing or replacing something. I do hear you on not getting washed, don't trust that at all.

@KenNington...who the heck charges $200 for an oil change? You getting serviced at the Mercedes dealer?

200 is rounded. But yes, our oil changes range from 140-170 at the dealership. At least if your still using synthetic...even at a parts store, 5 quarts of synthetic is 90 dollars...how much are you paying for a change?

lol half the people commenting on this post don't even have the 14mm wrench to do the oil change. Fuckin internet-know-it-all, keyboard warriors.

The hiring process is dependent on the individual manager running the service department. Some managers have higher standards than others, as with any job. ALL of my guys would have caught that. Anyone who wouldn't catch that wouldn't have a job at my dealership.

Change the channel, guys. We're not all the same. Some of us do actually know better than you.

A case of fully synthetic castrol 0-20 is $50 on amazon. To pick up a case locally from autozone is $54 for 6 quarts.

Dealer oil change (oil, filter, labor) is $59 at Subaru for full synthetic of course.

Even on my BMW 135i that used 7 quarts(BMW branded full syn) the dealer price was $120, or $100 from a Indy BMW shop.

Guess I'm not normal for choosing to do my own maintenance.
They weren't amused at the dealer when buying the car when I asked if they could take the value of 2 year maintenance out of the price of the car because I didn't want them doing my service.

You call people you know nothing about keyboard warriors then make that comment? Really? I bet 10 dollars 96% of people on this forum have a 14mm wrench.

Everyone post up your wrench picture so I can make 10 dollars off him...
