That awkward moment when.....

That awkward moment when Toyota Dealership rotates your different size/offset rear wheels to the front and the smaller wheels to the rear. My FRS looked retarded and they didnt notice the Lip is nearly 3x's wider in the Rear WTF Toyota

***EDIT: Some poeple are assuming I went to the dealer just for the oil change, My reason for the visit was to replace my condensated right tail light under warranty****

Pic of car to show difference on the rims, not the day they switched them around

My boyfriend took his Genesis to NTB to get his winter tires switched for summer and they put the two smaller ones on one side (front and back) and the two larger ones on the other. They were pretty sheepish when he pointed it out.

Ill never understand why enthusiasts take their cars to a dealer for simple things. At least go to a "performance shop" if you need some work done. This same exact story was on Jalopnik about an M3.

Dealer horror stories will never end, stay away.

A dealership should really know how to rotate tires. It's disappointing that the expectation should be so low for "professionals." If it was something custom, like dialing in camber for stretched wheels, I'd understand.

I've never been to a decent McDonalds. There's decent dealerships.

But witty sayings are cool, I guess. They dismiss an argument while getting 'Thanks'.

What is to argue? It shouldn't be the customer has to bend over backwards to find a decent dealer/service. I don't waste my time with it and advocated others not to.

Dealerships are full of a bunch of pissed off, underpaid mechanics (this is a little bit of an exaggeration, but not too far off). Granted, there are good ones out there, but I've heard and experieced my share of horror stories. When I can get more and better information from random forums and a misc "google search" than the dealership can give me, that says something.

Took my car to the Toyota service center at TMS for a routine service. Midway through a malibu canyon run, i found coolant splattered all over the front of the engine bay accompanied by a nasty burning smell. Apparently they filled the reservoir all the way to the top (facepalm)
