Only a few reasons to jack up the motor from the oil pan.

Replacing motor mounts.
Replacing Clutch.
Maybe for some funky 3 inch overpipe.

In either scenario, you'd loosen or remove the mounts. The motor is pretty damn light all things considered. Just don't crush your intake with your Strut tower bar ;D

I actually read that as jacking up the car from the motor.

You could technically jack up your car from the motor. Pun intended.

I am anticipating the release of the this product. It can't come sooner!

I am guessing this negates the need for a intake manifold spacer.

The totally intake runner length and the duration of the cams should be tuned to work together. As FBM is developing cams I'm guessing you wont see the intake until they have finalized their cams.

What I meant to ask was does FBM intake manifold makes Crawford's manifold spacer obsolete or redudant?

Pretty much yeah, the power blocks were a bandaid and the intake is the cure lol
