This appears to be North Central, Texas too. Everything is under construction and a mess. It's really horrid. Was going to lower, but now I'm thinking it'll be more hassle than I'd really like to deal with.

On my way home from a trip, I marathoned from Denver to Huntington Beach. I felt the seats could use a tad more lower back support, but otherwise, it was a great drive. I even managed to average over 30mpg, despite lots of spirited driving, and 90mph cruising (where the speed limit was 80... >_>)

Just did an 800 mile trip from Ohio to where I grew up in NY. I have a Perrin exhaust and inlet on my car. Noise wasn't an issue and my back was fine the entire ride..granted I'm only 23 so that might be why my back was fine...

have done many 6-12 hr trips each way in our BRZ, and just came back from Watertown NY this past weekend. The BRZ is a great comfortable sports car, unless the roads are bad. Otherwise no issues with the seats, get 41-42 mpg, and have plenty of power when needing to pass or get out of near crash situations.

Only issue was took a corner too fast to avoid a huge motor home that was coming into my lane (its true..other drives do not see us) and hurt my wifes neck from the g forces!

hory shet!

Automatic or manual? Only way I'd get that is if I rolled downhill with the engine shutoff for a significant portion of the trip.

I recently drove from NJ to Dallas, TX and back and then down to MD. Straight shots each way (~25 hours). Pretty comfortable for the most part, I prefer the slightly rigid seats for long trips vs more cushy seats. My wife's old Lexus had super "comfortable" seats, but after an hour or so I found them to be too cushy and actually hurt my back.

Auto , and I did the calculation myself to check the trip computer. Off by only .5 mpg. This thing is like having a hybrid or a diesel!

I would like to be able to lower or modify my suspension, but if I did I wouldn't be able to drive this car any more on these terrible roads. This is why my other car is a Jeep.

PA checking in. The highways aren't too bad, but anything inner city is a nightmare. There are roads in my area that I have to avoid and take a detour around because they're too rough. And even the detours aren't all that great.

Planning on driving from Chicago to Deals Gap TN in just under a month. It's just my buddy and I. The plan is to leave the rear seats folded down so we can have access to coolers and stuff. Longest I've driven til now in the BRZ is 5 hours and at the end of that I wasn't even close to fatigued. This is going to be a cake walk. Very excited!

My wife and I drove our BRZ from Tucson to Portland and back. Approximately 3,000 miles total. Longest day of driving was about 880 miles. We averaged a little over 31 mpg (manual transmission).

My wife and I also did the same trip in our Legacy GT without stopping to sleep... Over 20 hours of driving. The Legacy definitely has a softer ride but I think the seats are a bit more comfortable in the BRZ.

Wife and I drove my BRZ from WA to northern CA along 101 (coastal hwy), and back. Put 3k miles on it in 4 days, just after I bought it. By far my favorite driving car - including miatas, STi WRX, and such. Made 34 mpg average for the trip. My only problem is I really think the car wants another 30-50 bhp. I did disable the sound tube through firewall.
