Wow, what was the sale price? Most on the boards paid $380ish shipped.

$359.

I e-mailed them telling them to cancel my order. I'll order from their eBay store tomorrow after they cancel it. I'm not about to waste $100.

Not to double post, but they sent it out today and I called them. They price matched on the spot. Incredible company.

Didn't get any drone while driving. I'll get a video up once the replacement downpipe for the headers come in. High pitch ricey sound at certain RPM's, this exhaust may not have been tuned for a high-flowing exhaust system.

You sticking the stock FP back on or did you get something new? I'm thinking of getting the JDL or Motiv catted FP. I'm gonna keep the headers stock and the MP stock... for now

I put the factory FP back in, didn't sound right with the Invidia catless resonated FP.

Got mine and installed it today after I got home from work. If anyone thinks its stupid to work on a hot exhaust, you'd be right. But I was excited and had welding gloves so I threw it on.

I'm a little disappointed in the overall craftsman ship, the tips seem to point in to the center of the car and are a little close to the top of the exhaust cut outs on the bumper. I know, I know, "You get what you pay for, dingus!" but now I'm going to have to keep a close eye on my bumper to make sure nothing melts until I can get some longer hangers.

I also found that they didn't trim the fiberglass in one of the tips:

I just used my pocketknife and trimmed that away. No big deal, at this point I'm nitpicking.

It sounds great though, not farty, no drone, and a bit louder than stock. Perfect for a DD. Pretty bass-y, actually.

Other than the tips being so close to the bumper, I'm pretty happy.

I'll post more pictures tomorrow, the ones I took tonight didn't come out right.

I'm having a guy I know heat up the pipes to realign the tips. Figured it will be easier than trying to fix it with the hangers and messing with the the other pipe connections.

I installed this axleback last week, and so far, I LOVE it. Thanks to OP for this review, as it really helped with my decision.

The tips being a bit off doesn't bug me as much as I'd thought, which is odd, considering I usually have major OCD. I guess it's knowing that an axleback is kind of like a "temporary" solution, since if I am to turbo, I'd have to upgrade full exhaust anyway. Until then, this is great.

Pardon the dirty car and amateur photo skills, if you please.

I'm considering getting longer hangers so the tips aren't as close to the bumper. When I installed it, the top half of the flange was about 1/2" away from the flange on the mid-pipe.

No fitment issues for me, however I did get the titanium tip finish version. They personally installed it for me at their shop!

I figure I should give an update since I feel I've come to a problem.

My exhaust seems to rattle at about 1.5-2k RPM. I went to check it out and see if something was rubbing and no dice.

I remembered seeing @ck-GT86 's post (#71) about the front pipe. So I ramped up the front of my car and that was it. Turns out the exhaust may have been in a bind since I installed the new muffler.

I made sure everything was kosher and managed to tighten up the axleback bolts just a bit.

So let this be a reminder to anyone who installs this: You might want to loosen up the front pipe bolt before you tighten everything down.

Did this happen to fix the alignment issue at all?

Comparing the pictures I took to how it looks now, I don't think much changed.

But see for your self.

Unfortunately, this is the closest I could get to having the same camera angle and lighting. There's only so much one can do with a smartphone.
