I installed an Ark Design Road Spec cat back on my car. I was super OCD, keeping the plastic on to make sure I didn't get any grease or finger prints on the parts. Yes, this is the one that got covered on MotoIQ.

Here's the exhaust tips, major improvement on filling out those gigantic exhaust cutouts.

And a quick shot of the muffler can. Nice and shiny, and some killer welds.

I don't have any audio clips yet, but here's a video from Ark Design.

Any specifics on pushing it too long that I should watch out for? It get pretty hot where I live. Most summer days are over 100F degrees. I also have to sit in traffic in these temps.

I can't go into detail but there has been an instance where prolonged pushing of the car has led to serious issues. The whole traffic thing shouldn't be an issue especially with the oil cooler installed. Have fun with it, just don't go all day silly with it.

Painted the calipers gloss black. Nothing special but its more for protection against rust.

I used a dremel... I got an used broken taillight to practice first, so it was pretty easy after that... Have them done for a week and clean the car twice and have no issues with them.

Not how did you open them, how did you seal them back up? I used window weld. An a crap load of it. THEN l put some clear silicone over that. Still haven't mounted them up to see how they look since l have the Spyder 2's.

I used "Marine & Industrial Use 100% Silicone" ... And did not have to put a lot on it...
