FT-86 SpeedFactory Front Splitter has been received and install. I've also received my Cusco Accelerator pedal with the same shipment. It was a really straightforward installation, thanks again @FT-86 SpeedFactory for good quality product and great communication

and now on the car

with my street tires and wheels since I will be driving to a track event this weekend I cannot wait to test this splitter at track and combine that with the Driveway Labs diffuser I recently ordered @Wonderbar

These are feasible out of carbon fiber and would be relatively cheap. Paul and I will see what we can fit in .
a set to go with this lip would be great, really complete the look

We are keeping it under wraps until we make some serious headway. Similar to how we released the air oil separators. We do not want to string anyone along until we are certain we can bring to a product to market .

I agree, we will do our best. It's tough with basically two jobs but Paul and I will try our best to continually expand the parts we bring to the community in a timely fashion. Possibly later this year? I have some updates regarding splitter ties tomorrow .

Again, these are prototypes. I need to go to a local meet so I can see if the brackets will work with an FR-S as well. This stiffens up the leading edge of the splitter very well.

I was curious if you guys would look into making one that's legal for Street Modified autocross classes? The rule with SM is the splitter can extend 6" in front of the front bumper but the outer edges cannot protrude outside the front bumper. Not sure if that would weaken or interfere with the mounting.

We definitely can! How far would you want the splitter to extend in front of the bumper? Anything more than the 3" we already have it would need to have the splitter ties.

Splitter ties work fairly well. Their is still slight deflection but only in instances where I am loading the splitter in a way that air pressure does not (standing on it with concentrated loads).

I'll look at the rules, generally people go about 5" in front of the bumper. I have no problem using the splitter ties.

Sounds good, we can definitely do this for anyone needing to meet specific rules .
