Just a quick question on your mods. You listed a throttle body spacer as one of them. Where did you purchase this? I've always heard TB spacers were snake oil but I'd love to look at them again if there is any factual data available on them.
na ive had them on other cars and the spacer makes a difference that you can feel i got it from a shop in ny . a spacer is worth it for the price. easy install and removal for dealer visits. dont forget the sound of the vortex as you hit the throttle! if a bigger tb was cheaper than 1800 bucks id get a big tb instead but thats way 2 much $$$. im trying to find a used stock tb for a decent price then pay ~$80 to get it p&p. but a new tb for the twin is 600 buks so a used one aint 2 cheap.

Yeah, most people with a TB spacer say that they really feel it. Oddly though, most dyno results show a slight loss of power.

If your after a * new* bolt-in replacement specifically for our cars, TODA do a cheaper TB than CUSCO. Still pricey though. Should be getting mine next fortnight.. then go for a tune and hopefully crack +50rwhp from stock.
I'll be happy with +40 though. (on BP Ultimate 98)

That is a great before and after dyno for bolt ons. I am interested to see how much the TB changes things. Also curious to see what it will look like after a tune.

I have you to thank that for.. I found the link off you LOL
I'm keen to see what a retune will do too, esp with the intake mods. Apparently MAF sensor placement(distance) from TB/Mani makes some difference hence retaining stock intake setup - bar the snorkel of course.

I managed 200.5 with a visconti tune. I think I remember seeing someone got a little higher, but I'm not 100% on that

Anyone here know this questions answer? As I'm pretty curious myself to know the record.

Non of you guys have mentioned Crawford BPB!!?

I'm running a Perrin inlet tube, k&n filter, Perrin cat back and OFT OTS stage 1. Drastically improved over stock feel. Easier to drive and pulls harder.

Waiting on my motiv over pipe, ft86 SF catted UEL header and invidia mid pipe, then I'll flash to OTS stage 2 UEL. Should pick up more power.
Then I want to get Crawford BPBs and I wouldn't doubt if I was at or over 200 on 91 pump gas.

With oft I can easily flash to an e85 tune, only 1 station near me tho :/

You only made 132 on stock? Almost every stock dyno I've seen has been in the 150-160 range...

Not my car. I never bothered to dyno my car 'stock'.
Dyno figures don't really matter to me as ALL dyno's read differently.
It's the HP difference above stock or percentage gain relative to stock that's more important.
Track times are the best measure of performance gain anyways.

I'll be ordering one of those Crawford blocks sometime next week. Haven't spent any money on my car in over 2 months now :/
I'll get some before and after dyno plots while I'm at it, since my car is fairly modded stock-wise(bar the HKS pistons/cams/rods/stroker) it will be a good indication of how much powa you can get from these 'power blocks' on a stockish motor.

Post the dyno runs here, I'm curious to see them myself!
