Well the stock amp just runs the front speakers.

Is the amp just for the sub or is it 5 channel for the speakers too?

If you drive the sub straight from a bridged amp you'll trash it or at very least it will sound like shit unless it has a low pass filter built in.

What I did with mine, a 1 channel amp, I bypassed the stock amp wires and fed them to the aftermarket amps line in port. Them from there I passed the + and - from yhe amp to 2 subs. Let mw know if you need more info. I can even do a DIY if enough people are interested.

Here is my wiring on my 13 BSpoke. All I did. No other changes to the system. Sounds GREAT!

I removed the stock amp and used a 4-channel amp. Two channels power the front 6.5" door speakers while the other two power the rear 6.5" subs. With a little work the baby Alpine MRV-F300 amp fit nicely in the stock location without creating a bulge in the trunk floor.

I will try to write one up tonight. Unfortunately I do not have in process pics but I will try to show what cables are needed to be bypassed

Driving a sub from any amp without a low pass filter will sound like shit and potentially damage the speaker. Bridged or not doesn't matter. As far as bridging goes, as long as the amp can support it and you match the impedance of the signal with the resistance of the speaker, it's not a big deal. It might raise the THD a little, but at 30 Hz that's not really a problem.

Yes a low pass filter is what will make a difference. A capacitor will also keep the voltage steady for the amp.
