SUB and AMP!!!
hey guys!!! so im a little confused... i got an amp and sub i want to install but idk what to do with the stock amp? do i unplug it or leave it there, let me know what you guys have done to your cars??

Well the stock amp just runs the front speakers.
Is the amp just for the sub or is it 5 channel for the speakers too? |

If you drive the sub straight from a bridged amp you'll trash it or at very least it will sound like shit unless it has a low pass filter built in.

What I did with mine, a 1 channel amp, I bypassed the stock amp wires and fed them to the aftermarket amps line in port. Them from there I passed the + and - from yhe amp to 2 subs. Let mw know if you need more info. I can even do a DIY if enough people are interested.

Here is my wiring on my 13 BSpoke. All I did. No other changes to the system. Sounds GREAT!

I removed the stock amp and used a 4-channel amp. Two channels power the front 6.5" door speakers while the other two power the rear 6.5" subs. With a little work the baby Alpine MRV-F300 amp fit nicely in the stock location without creating a bulge in the trunk floor.
