I personally see nothing wrong with having more applications added (apps don't add weight). If you don't use it, that's fine but having it can't hurt either. And many times, having the phone connectivity allows a bigger nav screen, and a more convenient item to access information.
It's the difference between opting in and opting out. I'd rather opt in than opt out, personally. I'm sure there's a marketing study that shows people have a harder time opting out than opting in, too. In any case, I suppose in this case you do opt-in since it's optional equipment.

Mp3s? We now stream our music using pandora, mog, ect or stream your music collection from home.
Streamed music will be OK some day when it's lossless, right now it's compressed crap (speaking from an audiophile perspective). Probably does not matter much through a low-end car system though.

Adjusting for as high as they go should actually be good unless you have your car loaded down in the back... at least on my STI the highest level was set up still pretty low imo and I felt that the adjustment was a novelty on that car. Autoleveling would still be nice for instances where your car pitches dramatically, like speed humps and train tracks ect..

I definitely agree with the rest of your post though. I cringe when I see people talking about doing HID conversions. People don't seem to get that the housing is totally different and a proper shroud is critical to not blinding everyone on the road. Best case they catch on fire and are ruined... worst case you are causing a real safety problem driving around at night. I'm sure we will also be seeing plenty of fog light HID conversions... ugh

To me, that is 2 years to develop an android app for this system which is pretty pathetic that they couldn't get it done for launch.
Android may have more market share, but the apps are better on IOS and the developers make more money on IOS. So that is where the new stuff comes out first. Android is supported on zypr, says so on the site. Just not yet for the bespoke for some reason.

Nope go with LED Fogs, way cheaper and better...

Did not know the BRZ hids were not autoleveling, but they are bi-xenon though.

I hope you are right, because i will definitely stay FR-S if that is true!

I am new school. Old tech sucks..

LED and HIDS for me and I already replaced my old bulbs in the house with CFL's. Saves a grip on electricity. I am working on replacing them with LEDs.

I'm pretty sure the HID's on the BRZ are autoleveling. I believe the law requires it.
There should be a small plastic lever on the front and rear suspension to measure the motion of the car and adjust accordingly.

The leveling sensor is to the left of the green dot.

$850 are you kidding me. I would only consider this thing is if it was a touch screen carputer that can tether to my phone for internet. They can make computers really small these days. Even something with elementary specs as this can be paired with a SSD hard drive and a touch screen display. The combo will blow bespoke out of the water.

I would rather get BRZ/HIDs, because those are extremely difficult to retrofit.

The DOT has to approve the system to make sure it can be operated safely. The bespoke system is completely voice operated. Can't say that for the nettop..

If you like tinkering around with things like building a car PC thats cool, but I can all but guaranty you that if you add up the material plus your time it will cost more.
