Nameless Performance Axleback Tip Issues

Picked up my Nameless Axleback with 5" mufflers second hand from a friend, hurried to get it installed and really love both the look and sound. After having it on for 3 days though I went to wash my car and see one of the tips is splitting open.

Has anyone else has issues with the quality of their exhaust pieces? -This is making me second guess my down pipe purchase that is currently sitting in their queue.

Pics don't show up now, but I remember there was another topic about this issue here a couple of months ago.

hmmm......I see it is .....

Mine has held up real well.

Yes, as mentioned, I'd let nameless know. Then I'd take it to a welding shop and they will be able to fill it in and polish it up.

Maybe nameless performance would pay for the repair ..... might be worth asking ....

OR, do it the redneck way and simply fill the crack with solder and sand it smooth ......

Call Nameless and/or send them an email with the picture of the tip that's cracked. From what I remember, they're pretty good about this kind of stuff. My only concern is that you bought it second hand, so they might not be able to do anything.

As far as their downpipe, you have nothing to worry about.

Finally had a chance to get in contact with Nameless today. They were very easy to work with and agreed to weld on a new tip for free assuming I pay shipping(at their discounted rate).

Definitely impressed with their customer service and willingness to stand behind their products.

I didn't buy it new or from them. They're not obligated to provide me with anything as far as I'm concerned.

I'm like 2 hours from their shop anyway, shipping costs(at their pricing) isn't a big deal.

As much as I want to get a Nameless exhaust, this worries me if it is a common issue. :/
