Why is the 2. OFT tune (Dark blue on graph) lower than the 1. stock line (Black on graph)? The ESC graph looks great. |

As for run 4 and run 5. The start point of wot is also at different rpm, and the lower the rpm The higher the boost, that's probably why it looks like run 5was so much stronger but it's actually 5trq ,only because run 5 was ingaged earlier in the rev range. I think the inconsistencies in the 5pulls have to be because of the inconsistencies of the dyno operator and not the dyno itself

I drove my BRZ yesterday on a 125 mile trip that was 1/2 highway and 1/2 two lane back roads - with the ESC in the off position. After using the ESC for all these months, I can say without hesitation that if the car didn't have the extra power of the ESC - I'd sell it. I can also see that the ESC has made me a more aggressive driver. I'm hoping that driving without the ESC armed for a week will get me back to "normal".

LOL. My wife said the same thing about me and my "new" driving style. I agree on the ESC though. It fills in a gap that was lacking in the car and makes it into a keeper.

With the ESC's power and torque reaching the limits of the chassis and stock tires happens A LOT faster. 60-90 in 4th gear is a couple of blinks. 100+ is familiar territory. This makes the car feel more engaged on the highway, and edgier on curvy roads. It's as quick as it sounds now. The driving experience is more like a "light and nimble GT". I don't have to work to get the power. For daily driving this is a godsend. The performance envelope has grown so now to challenge myself responsibly and get that sports car experience, the car and Phantom ESC need to go to the track. |

Ok, guys... there's one thing I'm getting frustrated with on the Phantom ESC - and it's probably driver shortcomings rather than the ESC.
I still can't get as significant an improvement in the 0-60 time as I think I should get. I ran about 10 0-60 runs. My 40-60 time has dropped even further to 2.2 seconds (from 2.9 stock and 2.4 last week), but the best 0-60 I've been able to clock is a 6.2 (which is a tenth or two better than last week and 0.3 better than my best stock time. I've tried lots of wheelspin. I've tried no wheelspin. I've started in second gear and got a 6.3. I've tried with nannies on and nannies completely off. What's the secret to breaking 6 seconds? I know it can be done - heck, I've dropped 0.7 off my 40-60 time... that should translate into at least 0.7 off the 0-60 time. Thoughts?
