Anyone have any recommendation for a quality tint shop in or near Union City? By quality I mean workmanship and product (no dyed film or dye/metallic hybrids). I was happy with my tint that I had on my Yaris, but I'm not driving out to Citrus Heights for tint, especially since they weren't "cheap."

Auto Mall Tint Specialist or Premier Protective Films. Both are in Fremont (right near each other) and both are excellent. Not cheap but pretty much the very best in the area.

I just had mine done in Dublin at Low Price Auto Glass just a week ago. paid $250 for doors and back, went 50/35.

Do the last two places mentioned have websites? I would like to know what brand films they use. So far, it looks like Auto Mall Tint is my first choice.

Omega werks use only high end film but him know you're member on this forum he'll give you the forum ptice

Automall Tint has done two of our cars. Always excellent.

Here's what Auto Mall replied to me:

Hello Laz,
Thanks for your inquiry. The price to tint the rear 3 windows of your FRS with Huper Optik ceramic film is $330 charge or $320 cash vs Suntek Infinity OP full metal film for $190 charge or $180 cash. Takes about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on which film you choose. Thanks in advance.

I asked about 30% Huper Optik, and 10% for the Suntek; just the back three windows for this estimate.

Sidney just emailed me saying that they don't have any 10% Suntek OP in stock....might have to go with Omega Werks. Will try to give them a call and see what brand they use. A bit of a drive for me though, but if everything checks out, I'll go there.
