You don't even need a hose...you can just grab a bucket (that can fit at least 2 gallons), and get an empty gallon container of water and fill it up in your sink twice.

If you want to prevent swirl marks, use a soft wash mitt & microfiber towel (for drying) most importantly, use a different bucket and wash media for wheels.

Here's a Toyota Corolla after I cleaned it with ONR. I used it on the whole car including rims.

A good pattern to practice would be to use ONR to clean it every so often, then use car wash booths to clean the underbody/tires/wheel wells maybe once every 2 months or more if it rains.

Just an aside...ONR goes a long way. I have 1 gallon of quick detailer which is a solution of water and ONR. I think I used a 16:1 ratio.

If you are serious about trying it, I'll let you sample some. I'm from Daly City.
As a fellow cyclist I appreciate that offer ! I will definitely take you up on your offer after I wash my car

Also, if you don't already know, avoid the brush because that will swirl the F out of your car.

I usually use everything else and it costs me $3-4 dollars (not including vacuum) and I pay via credit card. The most I ever spent there was $5 when one of my cars was super duper dirty.

Yeah I know those brushes are a big fat no no ! That price is not too bad , especially with the price of water on the rise !!

does anyone have any experience with the Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax?
http://www.optimumcarcare.com/onrwnw.php?li=2

Also anyone near San Bruno want to split 2 gallons (i.e. two orders) of this stuff (ONR or ONR+wax)? It's free shipping over $75 from the website I think and no taxes... I just wanted to save on the $7 shipping...... or Does anyone have a better place to buy it?

it's sold on Amazon, might be cheaper there depending on your shipping charges

Amazon is actually more expensive with shipping/tax for me.. I'll split with you if you end up getting it. I'm in Daly City but can just drop by San Bruno on the weekends with a fresh $50 for you.

No experience with this particular product but I use their older waxless version.. I love that stuff. The reviews on this wax version looks good too.

I love the Wash & Wax... I used to use the regular stuff and but once I gave the wax a try I never looked back. It goes a long way in keeping your car clean for a longer time, and after you use the stuff you can definitely feel and see the wax in the product doing its job. When I used it in combination with opticoat on my BRZ the water beading was insane. And when my car got dirty all I had to do was a quick wipe down and it was nice and clean again.

I have been using it for over four years. I almost never use my hose to rinse my car during my weekly wash. It's great stuff. You have to be a little more careful when washing with a rinseless wash than with a normal wash to prevent swirl marks. If the car is heavily soiled, I would, at a minimum, rinse with a hose before washing with a rinseless wash.

Edit: I misread. I have been using the standard ONR. I haven't bothered trying the Wash and Wax since I apply a spray wax/sealant after every wash.
