Also keep in mind the main heat factor is there is no turbo right in front of your motor, its underneath the car and will not have to deal with heat soak much.

Since our intercooler is custom made to our specs, both end tanks and core, and not an off-the-shelf core, we were able to select the largest core that will physically fit between the bumper support and lower bumper tray. Because of this, we do not have fitment issues during re-installation of the bumper cover, etc. We purposely left a small air gap above the intercooler to allow some air to flow directly to the upper half of the radiator. Also, we use genuine Bell intercooler cores, which have very high heat transfer efficiency.

We do not foresee any intercooling issues for any amount of power that you can run through the stock block, even on track with E85.

Here's a few runs of the PTUNING Turbo FR-S @ Gripfest 6 North Carolina Center for Automotive Research, NCCAR Inc. on 5-11-2014. We were able to dial-in more rear traction by disconnecting the rear swaybar and shave 4+ seconds off our morning session lap times. Lots of spinout. Enjoy. Thanks @kanundrum for putting together the video!

Just an amazing looking kit. I will be buying when the cash stash reaches an acceptable level.

Last I heard from the shop is that they found some further enhancements to be made with less bends and it is nearing production release. I don't have a formal ETA but I would expect July-ish.

Does anyone have any videos of this turbo kit with a Perrin 3" non resonated cat-back exhaust? That's the exhaust I have and I plan on buying this turbo kit and I want to see what it sounds like

Unless PTuning has a 3" catback adapter for the turbo kit, you'll be running the PTuning kit to a 3"->2.5" reducer then the Perrin 3" catback.... not very ideal.

I've just installed the PTuning 3" catback with my kit... couldn't be happier.

I pre-ordered the header and asked the exact same question before putting my name down. They would have to outsource it. I figured there's a really good coater in Atlanta so I'd just get them here and figure it out.

I understand that, I'm just trying to find what it will sound like. I'm already breaking the bank on the turbo, can't really afford a second exhaust system.

Call them. I am sure they could make a 3" adapter instead of their 3" -> 2.5" reducer.
