The pulley you would need to reach the max rpm would be 2.75

Doesn't seem like much of a difference between the 3.125 in terms of power.

Yep. What's your power goal. You might want to look into turbo if your looking for anything over 370 whp

How much power do you think i can get with upgrading the blower and going down to the 2.75 If I make 295 whp now on the 3.125 ?

Dont know really it depends at what point youll start to see knock. Plus the 2.75 pulley wont give you much more boost than the 2.87. Efficiency starts to drop off pretty bad with anything smaller than the 2.87.

The v2 I run is just nicer in that it doesn't get as hot as the v3 under severe abuse at the track in 110f temps

Right why am I tracking it when it's so hot?
Nothing better to do

I don't recommend going smaller than 2.87 on v2 for track use if u want reliability

Trying to go smaller is not smart for track, but fine for a dd, IMHO

Air is not the limiting factor for power at that limit

What typical whp levels and boost are people getting with the 2.87 and 3.125 pulleys on pump gas?

Someone should also do a DIY video on how to change pulleys.

If no ones done a video by next weekend I'll put one together. I'm swapping to 3.125 in two weeks time.

Hardest part about the swap is changing the belt, and that is just time consuming. PM me if you have any questions!

Also, inspect your pulley carefully. Mine had a few minor dings in the rib area that I filed down with a jewelers file, as I feared that the rough edges may just contribute to belt wear/failure

yeah i figured the belt swap was going to be a pain in the d*ck

lol the pulley shouldnt be too hard. Ive done it once already. The previous owner of the kit had the 3.125 on there when he sold it to me but I didnt have supporting mods to be able to run it.

I need to find a good strap wrench lol
