Will you be completely out of commission on Tuesday evening? I'm sure Wednesday will work for most everyone too though. I know you want to try out my suspension and I'd like to give you the opportunity, especially now that I have my alignment issues sorted out.

Damn, that sucks. Do you at least have an ETA on those parts?

Not really they contacted me and said they were waiting for one thing to come in. I'll just do fluids on next oil change I guess.

I know we were talking about audio here a while back so for those of you that have already replaced your door speakers with aftermarket ones i have a question.. I purchased some infinity component speakers. 6.5 with tweeters. Im installing them right now but it seems that the stock speakers came with an adapter to fit on the door. Is there a way to take this adapter off of the stock speakers so i can use it with the new Speakers or do i need to buy an adapter. Where could i buy this adapter? Thanks!

take the stock speakers, place ontop of wood, draw out profile, cut out center to allow for new speaker to fit in hole, cut out outer diameter for adapter, have a beer, install adapter, put new speaker ontop of adapter and drill in screws while its in the door, silicon that bitch and proceed to next door . If you have dynamat, just install that before you put the wood adapter in the door. Birch is a good wood to use btw, and you should also seal it before putting in door.

If you are not in possession of woodworking tools, you can buy the adapters. One place is http://www.subaruaudio.net/subaru-sp...acers/pricing/ but there may be others that go cheaper.

Time to get creative. You can either buy an adapter that is made specifically for this car, or have some fun with a dremel and some self tapping screws.

This is an extreme long shot, but I've got a 2002 Lexus RX300 with only 30k miles that I'm looking to sell in the next couple of weeks. going to be posting some pictures up in the for sale section later. Let me know if you're interested.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Goodbye hood prop bar. I finally got some hood struts. This will make working under the hood much easier. I keep forgetting that bar's there and bumping into it.

@Jyn Here is the basic route I took, with slight tweaks to move it out of my driveway It's not a hilly twisty drive like west of Austin - just relaxing and easy curves if you happen to be in the north Pflugerville/Hutto area. Watch out for hidden LEOs on the first part of 1660 - there are nice hiding spots in the trees. But, the speed limit is 60 on that anyways, so you won't really have to drive slowly.
