They're actually both 17X8.5 if I remember correctly. I bought them used with the tire setup. I'm probably going to go with Sumitomo HRTZ3's 245/40R17's all 'round when I get new tires. Should fit the rims better on the rear and shift the traction to more neutral I think.

Really? That's cool! How the 235 fit on 8.5? I had a 17x8 w 235 and felt weird cuz lip was way out.

That's the tire in the first pic. Looks pretty normal. I think the aspect ratio makes a bit of difference and in general fitment can vary A LOT depending on manufacturer.

Mine are 235/45R17's in the front a 235/40R17 may stretch more, maybe? What was the aspect ratio (number in bold that gives sidewall height as a % of the rated width) on yours?

Smiley WAR!!!!

I love your wheels Dimman. I wish they were in a lower offset and a little wider though. But whatever they still look good.

These are sort of temporary. I think they were actually intended to go on a Celica, as they are too new for a Mk3 and they are too narrow to be even stock Mk4 size. Problem with my car is that it was originally a GA70. It is a narrow-body Supra! I have to be pretty cautious with offset for fitment. I also have a set of 16" 2 piece Volk/Rays that have a mesh center like a BBS. They are 16" x 7" +25 front and 16" x 8" +20 rear I think. Good sized lip in the back, but won't fit this car (at least to suit my taste). I'll see if I have a pic of them. I picked them up for $200 but they have some curbage that needs fixing.

Oh and for the record, I will be getting these for the FT

But black or bronze depending on color of car. No chrome.

Can't go wrong with Work. For some reason I have this obsession with silver cars with Black or Bronze rims.

Thank kindly for the detail info, but I know the aspect ratio is.

I was running BF's g-Force TA 235/40ZR17 both F&R. My friend was running some NEOVA AD 235/40R17 w 17x8 wheels and it didn't look weird as mine was.

Edit: Correction. I've double checked w my friend. He said his old wheels were 17x7.5... I guess, .5 made a lot of difference.

I was looking at some of the photochops and I'm digging the Volk Rays if I decided to go aftermarket
