I do. That over-cambered scraping the pavement BS doesn't do anything for me except make me giggle.

I don't get your point... I'm not saying an inanimate object can't be racist, or symbolize racism.

I'm saying I think it's a stretch to say calling an inanimate object a name is "racist" because the object doesn't even have a race.

The general public is seeing this as a riced out car? Lol wtf how high are you? You clearly have no clue what the general public sees.

As someone who recently joined this forum a couple of months ago and being the first car forum I have ever joined/first time involved in any kind of car community I feel I can speak for what the general public sees as I was the general public not to long ago.

And the general public never thinks about "riced" cars, thats not a concept most think about. They just see regular cars, expensive cars, cars with overly loud exhausts and cars that are "tricked out". The last 2 are rare to the general public. Most people ask me about my car because they have never seen it, or if they ask what kinda car I drive and I say an FRS they have no idea what that is since its not a Prius. The general public only knows bear bone stock popular cars.

The amount of "riced" cars is so rare that I personally have only ever seen 5 in my entire life and I have lived in SD/LA my whole life. And I only ever hear one farcan exhaust car a week. Since joining this forum I have seen far more pictures of "riced" out cars but I still dont see these in the wild, its just on the forums you can see pictures from all over the world, and people are going to post there tricked out cars more than people who keep them simple and clean. So it appears there are more riced out cars than there really are.

I'm sure if I went to auto shows and car meets I would see more tricked out cars but I don't. Just like the general public, these "riced" out cars to them just exist on the internet.

I have replaced my stock rubberized antenna with a fake carbon-fiber one...

... because cats loved to chew the previous more softer antenna.

Yeah, this thread is some of the cancer on these forums.

Oh wait, I almost forgot about all the entitled 16-21 year olds such as OP. I used to think his posts could be funny, constructive. But then he went on a tangent in the last couple of weeks.

the cure to the cancer is guys like humfrz.. there are not enough of them

I believe some views on this are akin to [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean_world_syndrome"]Mean world syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]. In truth, outside of enthusiast, there isn't much care about these sort of things.
