I believe that's too far of an assumption to make. It's just subaru's take on it.

From the sounds of it, your saying it stops more sound than stock, but isn't a complete block like the Blue TRD tube.

I get red TRD sound creator ON, now waiting for STI (grey).
Blue is closed (sound creator OFF), green is middle and red the most sensitive.
Internal foam is quite different in red and green, in Blue any foam.

Today i installed my Flexible Tower Bar.

I want to give a new Review about it for all.

So, installling was easy but the Fine Tuning for the 100% correct Position
was not easy for me , as i am a really perfectionist

So after all, i went out for the firt Test Drive.

I am really impressed about the Stiffer Feeling in Hard corners.

The Car is well matched with the Tower Bar cause the lateral rocking

in corners with fast responsively from right turns to left turns

is blown away
The Car just goes there where you want to have it

At least and that is also a big point for All STI Enthusiats
.......the Tower Bar looks Very Smart in Your Engine bay

Yeah! I installed late in last summer. BRZ is more reactive to entering corner and you acquire better feeling on steering wheel. Nextly I'll upgrade with whiteline 22/18 anti-roll bar...

You need two bushes (a set), 2 spacers, 2 bolts from Japanparts and two nuts that you can buy in Germany from an official Subaru dealer. Japanparts sells all parts including ordinary nuts #902380003 too.

Therefore:
1. Japanparts Number : 484-001-022
Parts Name : STEERING GEAR BOX BUSH
----------------------------------------
QTY : 1 set (contents LH/RH)

2. Japanparts Number : 484-036-017
Parts Name : 34182D BOLT, STEERING GEAR BOX
----------------------------------------
QTY : 2

3. Japanparts Number : 484-036-018
Parts Name : 34480A SPACER
----------------------------------------
QTY : 2

About a DIY you need the extractor for bushes (not sold as Subaru repair network has this tool) like the Cusco SST. Otherwise you can build by yourself the extractor. Very easy to build as you can see below.

Here Cusco install page http://www.cusco.co.jp/en/parts_prod...lease_ava.html

no...tS parts aren't available, you will find only nuts here in Europe.

Try to verify on www.teile-profis.de
