staying with the BRZ since the beginning!!! love the look...its going to hold its value a lot more down the road, more options..also Subaru knows more about Boxer engines then toyota
Remember Scion people Toyota has to train there tech's how to work on Boxer engines...not like Subaru where they've been working on Boxer engines for more then 20 something years...

I'm thinking of canceling my BRZ order. Has anyone done this yet? My limited BRZ with options will be over 31k OTD... If i'm already having buyers remorse now I can't imagine how I'd feel over the next 5 years...

The limited came in $495 higher than it's been expected to sell at for the past few months, before ordering was opened. Why is the price surprising now? It was expected to be 27.

Wait 'til you drive it, then decide. Subaru and Scion have done a great job in building value for this car already; the test drive should seal the deal for you.
cyde01, the price DOES NOT include destination charge of $750. I gravitated to the BRZ side the moment I heard for certain the Toyota version would be badged a Scion. Visions of car meets with pimped out xB's and xD's flashed through my head, along with a Camry, 10 Celicas and a half-running MR2 (typical Toyota/Scion meet in my region. Good luck ever seeing a Scion at an auto-x or track day here!). Then I thought about the BRZ, and visions of high-HP WRX's and STi's danced through my head (typical Subaru meet/driving event in my region). That peppered with the memory of being at Mt. Washington last summer to watch David Higgins crush the hillclimb record in a WRX STi helped me see why it made sense for Subaru to build a sports car. Then I saw the Scion interior with its boy-racer-red accents and Tonka-tough HVAC knobs (sorry guys, it's just how I feel) and that was the end of my decision. Sure I'd love to save ~$3300 on a Scion vs. a BRZ Limited, but the benefit outweighs the cost in my eyes.

I will most likely stick with the FRS, because its lighter and cheaper though the price of the BRZ will def have me looking closer at both models before buying...

The Subaru is definitely a better deal. Scion ticks me off with their mono-spec, mono-price BS. The fact that it will cost me more than a BRZ Limited to add HID/LED headlamps, fog lamps, leather/Alcantara seats, navigation, and SiriusXM to an FR-S does not make me a happy camper. But I really like the small styling differences of the FR-S. My practical side says, "Just buy a BRZ Limited and call it a day" but my emotional side says, "The FRS looks better and you'll never be satisfied with how the BRZ looks."
