I'm actually about to put royal purple 0W-20 in my BRZ but I'm kinda afraid to put it in my car because I've lurked around the forums and I've read mixed things about it. But I've been told that I should be fine since I change my oil every 3000 miles.

Can I get some input?

I'm getting ready to do an oil change and I'm actually looking at this same oil type. Any different oil filter you're using or is it the OEM one that comes factory? Also, what intervals will you being changing the oil at?

Just had my first service performed at 7,350 mi last Friday. Mobile 1 through dealership as others have stated. It's a good oil. Pennzoil was used from the dealership with my tC. I really don't think one can go wrong with any good brand name oil. They are all considerably equal in quality in my opinion. I am sure others will tend to disagree. As long as one is maintaining the car well via punctual oil changes.

I used royal purple in my previous car (an altezza) . Ran that car hard for years with zero engine trouble.
