No clue.

GUIZE I JUST CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK.

Just wait until your insurance goes up again when people like this get into accidents.

It's a somewhat cheap sports car. Idk what you were expecting - some sort of mandatory ethics class on how to "tastefully" modify your car? Maybe you care too much and this is the best way for you to vent your frustrations?

To some, your car would be considered rice, Husker. This sort of thing is inevitable when an affordable sporty car comes out. They want to make their car unique and buy a bunch of aftermarket stuff but before they know it, the car develops all sorts of problems so they try to sell it. My generation of Eclipse is notorious for this - I probably have one of the last mostly stock GSX's left. I think it might actually help the resale value if most other people mod theirs - as long as you don't heavily mod your own and take good care of it.

Really, if you worry about this, you should never buy a car unless you bought it to store in a garage shrink wrapped for 40 years. All cars (that are not in the equivalent of a museum) have dwindling value.

Of course, since I've never sold/traded-in a car with less than 200,000 miles on it, I'm probably not the best judge of this.

i love the automatic drifting and yeah this is turning into one of those more garbage communities. it happens when cars prices creep into the prices stupid kids can afford. its a good car but i probably wouldnt have bought one if i waited until after my car situation changed.

You bought a car that was developed with the intention of being marketed to kids/young adults.

Young adults in their 20s is one thing (and to me that seems to be really the target market). A bunch of 17 year old kids like that video is a different story. I don't think this is really marketed to that crowd - which the Civic definitely is.

My insurance is the same. $124 per month. You know what? If my insurance does raise, I'll be able to afford it since I settled for a cheap sports car.
