Count me under that. I use parallels and I'm pretty sure shiv is/was too.

that's in series, you have to run them in parallel, or you'll blow your resistive load

UPDATE: I was leaving the gym this morning when all of the sudden the compressor engaged out of nowhere causing my car to stall. After the engine stalled I could hear the compressor spooling ( this was without me having my foot on the throttle). I hurried up and pulled the wire from the fuse box turning off the system. I am going to leave it unplugged until I get the new controller...

I wonder what it is about your car that keeps blowing controllers. This is the second one?
