They usually do a pretty good job sorting the groups by speed/experience so you don't get stuck too badly. Sometimes you get someone that isn't paying attention/won't let people pass. If this happens the organizers will take care of it, if you let them know.

And the other clubs that run there do tend to have a lot fewer people, in addition to 3 balls the Porsche and BMW Car clubs run on weekdays.

So I know the Great Lakes Z Club typically holds a summer BBQ at Kensington Park each year. I've been talking with them on possibly making it a joint BBQ with FRS/BRZ guys.

Would you guys be interested if a date was decided? Thinking maybe sometime end of June?

And I only posted this cuz Sean mentioned meets aren't his thing just kidding

Decent on-demand torque and even though they are very heavy, they have a very small moment of inertia because the big battery mass is centered in the car, so they have a propensity to like to rotate.

Bring them out to an Autocross deathmatch, and I'm there. Nothing against meets, but I get major anxietey just standing around looking at cars and not driving them. A Saturday/Sunday not racing, is a weekend wasted.

Tim, how can a Volt have 'rotation', can you even disable the stability control?

Are we still doing this? I'm up for it if we are!

Please let me know what times and locations we would be meeting up at.

I completely agree with Sean on 3 balls racing. Great group of people and just enough cars to have a blast on the track. I went with them to Gingerman around a month back and had a blast driving there.

Also, their tag line is brilliant too: 3 balls racing - when two just won't do

How about fuddruckers on Woodward and square lake at 730? Then we can drive down to Birmingham and find a place to park and hang out?

So I took my car in for her first oil change just because its on the house. I brought up the cricket issue and could not replicate it there. However, when they called to say my car was done, they said they were able to replicate and it was the loudest cricket noise they have ever heard. My VIN fell out the range of the ones that apparently had them but they are replacing it next week.

My question is how long did your dealer take to replace yours? I know it varies depending on the dealer but I wanna get the idea of the duration. Im getting mine replaced in Suburban Subaru in Troy.

From here on I will do my own oil changes now and only will go back if I get lazy or if my milage falls in the area that needs to check for heavier inspections (ie 15k Miles etc)

I might be able to stop by in Birmingham to say hello to my fellow twins but I have plans.

Please let me know if this is confirmed and where you guys will be.

Yeah I was planning on trying to make it but I woke up sick as a dog so I'm staying away from people till I feel better.
