How long does it take for coils to settle/break in before getting an alignment?

Looks like I will be picking up some SPC bolts either buying used from another forum user or new from ft86sf (I didn't see them on the RCE website), as it looks like it will be a few months before top hats are feasible in my budget. I'm looking forward to fixing that understeer.

Why not just go to a subaru dealership and get the OEM crash bolts. They're cheaper and were heavily recommended over any aftermarket ones by the performance shop I went to.

But even just this little amount of camber does wonders for the handling of the car.

All I can say is that there's no need to rank everything the way you seem to want to do. Bilstein is good. KW is good. Their build quality is roughly the same. Other stuff is good too. Not much point in deciding which has the richest history and the most satisfying reputation to you. Don't pick a favorite. Hell, I don't have a favorite. I just look at what they offer and find something that matches my needs and budget.

Never seen this...but very nice video. Seems like they're on some next level type sht...maybe even up there with Ohlins

Makes me really want the RCE T2's now!!

I'll go by my local dealer and see what they'll charge for those. FT86SF is selling the SPC bolts for 25 bucks brand new so it isn't exactly expensive for those either.

True but I believe the Subaru ones are like $8-9. Been a while since I bought mine though but I'm fairly confident I didn't pay over $10 for them. Plus then you don't have to pay or wait for shipping (waiting is always the hardest part).

Interesting, as they show you as a dealer on their site: http://www.nitron.co.uk/dealers.

$10 and they'll arrive on Tuesday (due to Monday being a holiday). I might buy the SPC bolts just so I can compare and either resell or return the one I don't use.

newbie question, how can I tape measure to toe? Can I simply use one of those level tools to see if it's changed? FYI, my toe was set to "0"

Thanks again

I find the car has a very noticeable front brake bias. Any thoughts on going with a higher friction pad in the rear to make up for some of it? I was thinking Stop Tech (since I already have them) on the front, and HP+ (that I also have) on the rear...

Should take no more than a day of driving around town *at most* with any quality system.
