hey guys, I'm a reader on this site, but today I got this feeling to join and write somethings that I wish toyota (or even subaru) do for the FT86 when it comes to mass production

1- I don't want 18/19" rims (please stay at 15 or 16 inches, and 17 as optional size)
2- Don't go for a ricer look twin/quad exhaust tips (single tip is good and save weight )
3- keys.... I want old school style keys. Why have a push botton, and if so just at least make it like the S2000's ones (I like to hold my car key in my hand)
4- This is not hard at all, I want a two-tone color option (kinda feel nostalgic to this one as my father used to take me to school in his two-tone R31 skyline) and wish they make it true, remember the 80's
Stop this craziness!
1.15s or 16s would be a sin. Does no one care about the beauty and design of these cars!? 3 inches of wheel gap is not appealing... If you're going to track it by some 15s or 16s for the track, there's absolutely no reason to be driving around the streets like this. especially not after all the time and money spend trying to make the car beautiful...

2.I've never seen a ricer with quad tips. Every POS civic I've ever seen has a fat coffee can muffler with a single tip... In fact, it seems to be only the more expensive cars that are coming with non-traditional multiple tips (LF-A, IS-F, Pagani Zonda F, etc.) Just because Ford and Chevy don't do it doesn't make it rice!

Am I overly opinionated? Just my .02!

im with you on the tips and the wheels. but i reccon 18" max, just cus 19" wheels or more will make tyres too expensive. but yeah its not like ur gonna go with STOCK wheels to the track.. u will get some TE-37 16-17s and u will get some kumho KU36 semis and ur gonna flog it around there.. but for street appeal massive side wall belongs on hotrods and fuelers

i mean lets think.. 16" rims.. HOW SMALL ARE THOSE BRAKES THEN.. u want to stop u want bigger brakes, then u HAVE to have bigger wheels.. (my 323F BA came with 16's stock.. if this FT has the same size wheel/brake package it will be kidna sad.. i mean i pull up quite fast but my car isnt by any standards up to current DOT guidlines nor is it stock any more in any way apart from shell)

Source. Now.

If you mean stop-start, do know that that doesn't require a push-button.

+10000000 on traditional, physical key.

i really don't care what kind of key it has. i'd be perfectly fine with of those new intelligent keys where there's a small button on the door handle to lock/unlock, and a button that you push to start/stop the engine. they're super convenient.

if you want to stop better, I don't believe you need bigger brakes.

truth. although bigger brakes generally are more fade resistant.

to stop faster, get better tires. to stop faster a bunch of times, get better pads and fluid.

Tires are by far the single-best upgrade to any car you're wanting to start driving spiritedly.

Second would be suspension.

Combine the two and your car literally transforms into something completely new.

Unless you just coughed-up a huge chunk of cash for a Z06 or something, then I guess it really doesn't need tires and the likes....you guys know what I mean anyways.

The one thing I really want on the FT-86 is for the steering wheel, seats, and mirrors (carbon fiber) to stay the same. PLEASE!!!

1. I think some 17in wheels would be perfect for my purpose (can fit in some large 4pots and find many tires sizes with good pricing)
2. I really dont like more pipes than necessary so a single would be my choice.
3. The intelligent key/push start seems very convenient to me but I would still want to have a traditional way to start the car if this was included.

I certainly hope subaru will include its awesome AWD system on their model. (with more power)

if there is one exhaust let it be centered i like balance and symmetry haha (hence why the F1 is my fav car of all times lol)
i love the steering wheel and the dash/gauge cluster the most on this car (not counting the overall shape which is the real winner here ) and leaving the seats would be a nice touch
