The won it three years in a row in a GTR. Four years in a row overall, but the first year was in a 911. They changed it up by running the twin-turbo R8 this year but the drag strip was not friendly to the driveline and they were out pretty quick.

Doug posted an update the other day on wrxatlanta with some pictures of the car with the AWIC setup. It's funny i think the same setup could work fine with my JDL kit if I just turned my old WRX AWIC top-mount sideways, the inlet/outlet are in the perfect position. I would just have to clock the compressor housing differently.

I'm not so sure about the AWIC setup for say a track day, I think it would heat soak. Doug is using a fairly small heat exchanger, the one I had on my WRX was about twice the size and I still had issues with the water heat soaking.

Mike said the car floated a valve when doing a high RPM dyno run, so Doug just replaced the valve springs with Kelford ones. I think in the wrxatlanta post he said the car made 530whp@18psi on E85.

Unrelated but going to their shop is like a GTR convention, there must have been 15 of them parked there from all over the country.

I went and saw his car today, he pulled a 7.3 60-130

I've had an order in for some parts that weren't in stock since the beginning of May. Ian has been very helpful and knowledgeable through the entire process. My catless header should be getting her tomorrow from them.
