I have an Innovate MTX and it maxes out @ 100psi on cold start. Driving around town I see around 17psi at fully warmed up at idle and 15psi if I'm really banging on it. I did 12 runs @ an AutoX practice day and as temps rose, the pressure dropped. At it's lowest, I think I saw 9-10psi @ idle, which was after 4 runs in quick sucession. I should note that the temp maxxed after 2 runs back to back and stayed there.
A good rule of thumb is about 10psi per 1000rpm, like someone else mentioned.

I should have my temporary oil pressure gauge installed this week. One thing is when you are somewhat reverse engineering data it's hard to get a baseline without others participating. I think this motor is very efficient.
I have not seen any proof so far 0w20 is bad for this car. Its obvious regardless of oil choice to have a cooler installed if you track the car. But it will be good to get some data on pressures in this thread.

I'll be installing my Gauge hopefully this week as well. Mine won't be much help determining a baseline through. I am running 5w30 with a full blown turbo kit and an oil cooler. But I'll report what i get to compare when i test it out.

I went to an hpde last weekend and saw pressures drop to about 45psi at 7000rpm at 250-260f after a bunch of laps. AVO turbo at 7psi with 300v 0w20
I'll be investing in an oil cooler soon. I'm thinking maybe the robispec setup or a water one Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

I'm not comfortable with 45psi at 7k. If you go track your car again before getting a cooler, try some 5w-40 and report back.

Interesting initial data collection, its clear oil temp plays a major roll in pressures.
0W20 Redline (Fresh Change) IDLE OIL PRESSURES 175F = 19PSI ![]() 190F = 15PSI ![]() 198F = 11PSI ![]() 210F = 9PSI
