The only complaint I had from yesterday night was this...

I wasn't able to buy it and take it home other than that it was way worth driving thru LA traffic to get a glimpse of the, short throw, low 2+2 body hugging seating, rear wheel drive, standard red interiors stitching, hidden body line goodness this car has to offer.

There was not a person that I saw come out of this car that didn't come out with a smile. Just a little longer and we'll be seeing some out on the streets with some aftermarket parts to make each their own unique SCION FRS.

good to hear, although the fact that you drive a truck might make you a bit less sensitive to a stiff suspension.

I've driven other cars through the years. The FR-S is still a smooth ride for what it is.

My FRS v. BRZ post is below:

Just messing with you. just like you messed with me.

The FR-S is going to be my Daily Driver and I still don't need all that extra crap and I'm 49. If I wanted car with all that extra crap, I would want to buy a touring car. I'm more worried about design, driving experience, performance, mechanics, workmanship and durability.

I also still think the FR-S front end is much better looking than the BRZ. The BRZ looks kinda like the Mazda front end, FUGLY. The FR-S/ GT86 front end makes it looks like an exotic sports car and the BRZ front end makes it looks like a wanna be sports car.

^ and don't forget that cheesy faux-aluminum all over the BRZ dashboard.

the FR-S was built to a price to get people to buy. if you care more about driving than amenities, it's FR-S. if you're extra concerned about checking that booger in your nose when you're parked and ready to get out the car before that hot date with the girl that works across the way, and need that illuminated vanity mirror to see it, the BRZ is for you.

Damn it Dave Awesome! Quit your crying!
The door was open you were standing there. I sat in and then he sat in his seat. He said you were supposed to go but he left anyway. If you were supposed to go, why weren't you already sitting in the car? And you didn't say anything to me.
It was a smooth ride for less than 100 yards!
You might be one of the first 86, but I'm one of the first of the general public to ride in it.

Probably not a good idea to be rotating the rear-view mirror around a lot - its mount will eventually loosen a bit and you start to get mirror-shake when underway, blurs your rearward vision.

Check out exotic sports cars and compare the FRS front end to those cars. You will see that the FRS/GT86 look more similar those cars than the BRZ. The BRZ looks cheezy to me, a wanna be sports car.
