I hope not that kind of option that gets released few weeks after MT price announcement.

Thanks for letting us know the initial pricing!

The AT pricing should be released tomorrow with the official MT pricing.

I'm really happy with those prices. Have to say I'm a little nervous about the Canadian pricing though. Hoping with Scion's conversion being so reasonable that Subaru's will be as well.

Real? Like that. I drove enough MTs in my life. This time I'm opting out for a 'state of the art' auto just for the fun of it.... and flappy pedals on a small wheel. That AT is an interesting concept overall as well. Should be a good quality fit with 2L banger.

I just like making the AT people angry

Depends on where you live. In my area, one dealer called and asked if I wanted to put a refundable desposit a week after orders opened up because they didn't have any sold orders. Another dealer with non-refundable deposits had no sold orders a few weeks after orders opened up. So some dealers still might not have any sold orders. For sure not every order in the nation has been spoken for. After the first few orders are sold, we may see some dust collectors even within the first 6 months.

I have little faith in Subaru Canada. Scion's pricing is pretty much in line with the rest of their products. Subaru sensibly pricing the Brz will be the exception in their line up.

Also seeing US destination charges seems to be that the Canadian charges are almost pure dealer profit. Also being in Vancouver and able to drive past lots full of cars fresh off their boats in their protective stickers getting ready to be shipped to the rest of the country makes me question having the same dest charge as Toronto or Montreal.

Oh yeah SF definitely won't be easy. I think San Jose and LA dealers have the highest allocations/concentration of orders in the nation and several of those dealers are sold out. Florida is up there too.

Time for me to wait for the price of Crosstrek now as we already have the BRZ price. Edmunds did know this information all this time and prices were set a LONG time ago... The only trick is that one price included the destination charge and the other didn't.
